These women are civically and politically involved, fashionably dressed, financially independent and
subscribe to the life-style their status reflects and expand beyond faith community. Upscale and trendsetting, they

About Us
Conceived in 1997 to celebrate and embrace the role first ladies and women of faith play in providing service to the community and shaping the lives of young girls and youth. The First Ladies High Tea attracts key tastemakers who take active roles in setting trends in the L.A church community and carry a great deal of clout and influence with their followers, who number anywhere from 200 to 10,000.
L.A. Focus’ Annual First Ladies High Tea is sponsored in part by L.A. Focus Charities. The mission of L.A. Focus Charities is to provide scholarships and mentoring opportunities to at-risk girls; to galvanize the faith community around key issues affecting their surrounding communities while also issuing a call to action in address them; and to celebrate those in the faith community and beyond for the role they have played in shaping the next generation of youth and making our communities a better place to live.
